Direct Donation Drive

We are asking families to make a tax deductible donation to the Oak Ridge Home and School Club. T-K through 4th graders are being asked to donate $150, 5th graders (who will be doing a special team building activity) $200, and 6th graders (who get to go to Science Camp) $325. This can be done as a onetime donation, split into two payments, or monthly payments. 100% of your donation goes to enrichment for our children. Please check with your company to see if they do any donation matching.

Community Events

We have quite a few community events planned this year.  We are kicking off the school year with a Back to School Family BBQ where you can mingle with other families at our school.  The two big fundraisers we host are a Movie Night in the fall and a big community event in the spring to raise additional funds.  Please be on the look out for more information about these events and ways to help make them possible.  They take a lot of volunteers to make them successful.  Please contact us if you are able to help or have ideas to contribute. Also, please check out the calendar page for more upcoming community events.

This year's spring event is a Color Run on Friday, April 12th! Food and Game Booths 3 pm -7 pm.  The Color Run will take place at the end of the school day, by grade level. We hope to see you at this fun event! It's going to be OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Ongoing Fundraising

  • All year long you can support Oak Ridge through collecting Box Tops for Education, shopping on Amazon Smile and selecting Oak Ridge Home and School Club, or selecting Oak Ridge Home and School club at Lucky's and Office Max.
  • The 5th and 6th graders will also be doing smaller fundraisers throughout the year, such as Boo Grams at Halloween and Friendship Grams at Valentine's Day, to raise funds for their team building activities and science camp.
  • On Tuesdays (except in the winter) ice cream is sold for $1 in front of the kindergarten rooms.
  • Throughout the year we have dine-out nights at local restaurants where a portion of the profit goes to our school.
